The Mission Store is more than just a thrift store. As a branch of Mission Services of London, we offer two unique community support programs:

EMERGENCY VOUCHER PROGRAM

Through this program we provide families and individuals in need with free clothing/household articles by way of a voucher system, used by 70+ referring community partners. Through this program in 2016 we provided 4,142 individuals with goods totaling over $390,000. Over the past 8 years we have distributed goods totaling over $2,750,000 to community members who needed this support.

WARM HANDS–WARM HEARTS

We partner with local elementary schools to provide needed children’s clothing during the winter months. This program runs from November to February and gives free socks, underwear, mittens, hats, and fleece tops/bottoms to children in need.  The store takes donations and distributes items in boxes to participating schools once per month during those months. Through this program in 2016 we partnered with 28 schools and provided winter wear to approximately 1100 children in the community.
